The MarTech Landscape Sees Growth
Experts speculated that the pandemic might finally lead to a shrink in the MarTech landscape. The opposite happened.
The need to deliver better digital customer experiences and streamline digital business operations drove the demand for MarTech upward. This has inspired a new wave of startups in the space. There were 47 new MarTech ventures in the Y Combinator cohort for summer 2021, alone.
There have been plenty of tech exits from the MarTech landscape over the past two years (972). This was largely because of acquisitions and pivots or unsuccessful products shutting down.
But, the number of new solutions (2,904) has surged.
